FAQs
What is Pilgrim Chai?
Pilgrim Chai is a handcrafted sticky chai made in small batches using whole spices, real black tea, and bush honey. It’s rich, fragrant, and designed to be brewed with milk not diluted into disappointment.
How do I make a cup?
Add 1 heaped tablespoon of Pilgrim Chai to a mug.
Dissolve with a splash of hot water, top up with hot (or cold) milk, stir, sip, repeat.
Can I drink it iced?
Absolutely.
Dissolve the chai in hot water first, then add cold milk and ice. Smooth, spiced, and dangerously drinkable.
Is Pilgrim chai sweetened?
Yes gently. We use bush honey for sweetness, so you likely won’t need to add anything else. That said, chai rules are made to be broken.
What milk works best?
Full-cream milk is classic, oat and soy milk are crowd favourites, and almond milk highlights the spice. Choose your own chai adventure.
Is it caffeinated?
Yes. Pilgrim chai contains black tea, so it has a gentle caffeine lift enough to wake you up, not enough to shout.
How long does it last?
Stored sealed in a cool, dark place and used with a clean spoon, Pilgrim chai keeps beautifully. Once opened, treat it like a pantry staple respect it and it’ll reward you.
Do you sell wholesale?
We do.
Wholesale orders start from a 2kg minimum, ideal for cafés and hospitality. We also offer retail-size bags for stores wanting Pilgrim Chai on the shelf.
