How to Make a Warming Cup of Hot Chai
  1. Add a heaped tablespoon of sticky chai to a small saucepan don’t worry about being too precise, a generous spoonful is perfect.
  2. Pour in about half a cup of hot water (just off the boil is fine), and place it over a low to medium heat.
  3. Let it simmer gently for around 2 minutes, giving the spices time to bloom. If you like a bold, fiery chai, feel free to let it steep a little longer  the flavours only get deeper.
  4. Optional but delicious: Stir in a spoonful of honey (or your sweetener of choice) to bring out the warmth of the spices.
  5. Pour in 200–300ml of your favourite milk dairy, oat, soy, almond… they all work beautifully.
  6. Turn the heat down low and let everything simmer together for 30 to 45 seconds, just until it’s steaming and creamy.
  7. Strain into your favourite mug, wrap your hands around it, and enjoy that rich, spiced comfort. Bonus points if you’re in your pyjamas.
How to Make a Refreshing Iced Chai
Perfect for warm days, late mornings, or anytime you want something cool and spiced.
  1. Start by adding a heaped tablespoon of sticky chai to a small saucepan. This generous spoonful ensures you get a deep, aromatic brew packed with flavour.
  2. Pour in about half a cup of hot water (just off the boil is ideal). Place the saucepan on medium heat and let the chai come to a gentle simmer.
  3. Let it brew for around 2–3 minutes, giving the spices time to open up and infuse the water the longer you brew, the bolder and spiced the final drink will be.
  4. Stir in honey, maple syrup, or your favourite sweetener to taste. Chai and sweetness are best friends especially in iced versions, where the cold can mute the spices slightly.
  5. Pour in 200–300ml of milk of your choice. Oat milk gives a creamy, smooth texture; almond adds a subtle nuttiness; and full-fat dairy brings a rich, velvety feel.
  6. Give it a stir, then take it off the heat. No need to reheat you’re now working on that cool-down magic.
  7. Fill a glass with lots of ice think café-style generous and strain your chai mixture directly over the top.
  8. Give it a final stir, maybe add a little extra drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of cinnamon on top, and you’ve got yourself a cool, spiced, energising drink that’s both refreshing and indulgent.
Tips:
